Zhengzhou West, China

Zhengzhou is heavily under construction. For the past 15 to 17 years the city has been rebuilding in every sector. They’ve produced new neighborhoods like the CBD and a new CBD that is going to out “CB” the CBD with a river that is shaped like a Dragon with a pearl in it’s mouth. In order to make way for the new buildings many of the old homes have been destroyed. There is not much debate in the question of wether a person is being compensated well for losing their home. It is sited for removal it will be removed. Not everyone is happy about the mass construction and the loss of the homes they lived in for years, but people have grown used to it. The joke is that when Zhengzhou stops building it’s no longer Zhengzhou.
