E-bikes are the electronic bikes that many people use to get around the city. Most bikes are intended for two people, but the people here will often squeeze three sometime four (depending on the size of a person) onto a bike. They are run on electricity. SOme places have areas where you can plug in your bike and other bikes have removable batteries that you can plug in at home. They have a quiet motor that hums when it turns on. Often at night people do not use their lights in order to save energy, but as you can guess this can make driving “exciting”.

In the summer the men tend to roll up their shirts over their bellies.
